GE is the first company that launch its new hybrid electric tankless hot water heater. The difference between the normal compared to the hybrid model is that the later is more energy saving. It is claimed that it could safe up to half of electric bill of the normal tankless hot water heater. This saving is due to its using less electric for hot water output, a normal electric tankless hot water heater requires 120 to 150 amp breakers but this hybrid model just needs 70 amp. Although the GE Hybrid electric tankless hot water heater could safe up to half of the energy costs, its patented technology does not scarify the amount of water it could deliver.
